Privacy Policy

Account data: name, email address, and authentication identifiers (we support email magic links and Google sign-in; we never see or store passwords for Google accounts).

Recruiting data: the candidate profiles, firm records, opportunities, notes, messages, and documents that recruiters and candidates put into the platform.

Usage data: standard logs (IP address, browser, pages viewed) used for security and to operate the service.

To operate the platform: showing recruiters their pipeline, showing candidates their status, delivering messages and notifications, processing billing.

To keep the platform safe: detecting abuse, securing accounts, and debugging.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use recruiting data for advertising. Candidate profiles exist to support the recruiting relationship — they are not shopped to other recruiters or data brokers.

Silverglass is built on shared visibility. When a recruiter updates an opportunity's status, the associated candidate can see that update in their portal. Recruiter-private notes remain private to the recruiter and their team; they are not shown to candidates.

We use a small set of infrastructure providers to run the service — hosting, database, email delivery, and payment processing (Stripe). Each receives only the data needed to perform its function. Payment card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers.

We retain data while your account is active. Recruiters can export their data at any time. Candidates can request deletion of their profile at any time, and we honor account deletion requests within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.

Data is encrypted in transit. API access uses scoped keys that can be revoked at any time. Access to production systems is restricted and audited. No system is perfectly secure — if we learn of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you promptly.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email privacy requests to hello@silverglass.app and we will respond within 30 days.

If we make material changes to this policy we will notify you by email or in-app notice before they take effect.
